Description
Beef cheeks, sourced from the cheek muscles of cows, present a robust and tough cut that demands a slow and extended cooking process to achieve optimal tenderness. Known for its ability to absorb the rich flavors of braising liquids, this cut transforms into a tender delight when given ample time to cook. Upon slicing, the texture resembles strands, akin to pulled pork, delivering a satisfying and flavorful experience. The meticulous preparation of beef cheeks results in a culinary masterpiece, offering a unique and savory addition to slow-cooked dishes.
Sourced from wagyu cattle, our Wagyu beef is meticulously bred and cultivated in the prime agricultural regions of the Liverpool Plains in Northern New South Wales and the Darling Downs in South East Queensland. The cattle enjoy free-range grazing in the natural, clean environment of Eastern Australia during the initial stages of their lives, feeding on abundant natural grasses. To enhance the unique and highly marbled characteristics of Wagyu beef, our cattle undergo a 400-day grain-fed regimen with no added hormones. This specialized diet, coupled with careful breeding practices, results in the exceptional quality and flavor profile of our signature Wagyu beef.
